Content Marketing is still as vital as it was years ago. We have seen companies making a fortune out of it and others who run out of business. The thing with content marketing needs you to be extremely careful with the channels you want to focus on. Always choose channels that you can control. For instance, we have seen people who solely focus on YouTube, then their accounts are discontinued, and they go down.
Today, we are fortunate to have a content marketing guru joining me on the show, Joe Pulizzi. He is the founder of The Tilt, author of seven books, including Content Inc., and co-founder of the speech-therapy fundraiser, The Orange Effect Foundation. Growing an Audience as a Solopreneur
First, you need to identify your differentiating area by niching down your audience. Second, identify your home base. Decide which platform you want to use for your content marketing. Lastly, remember to be consistent.
Do people still read email?
People still read email if it delivers the right content and captivates them enough. Your goal as a business should be to ensure your emails do not land in the spam box and that the content is worth your audience’s time.
